Leek

This vegetable belongs to the lily family and is typically consumed from the beginning of autumn to spring, and used in soups, creams, purées; however, it can be found and eaten during the rest months of the year.

It is mainly composed of water, and has a high content of potassium (good for muscle activity).

It is also rich in vitamin C, contributing to iron absorption and improving our immune system.

Presentation

They can be presented on boards (450 gr approx. – 3-4 cut leeks) or in bunches (3-4 whole leeks with leaves)
